Portrait of Ainslee Divine

Ainslee Divine is a model, online creator and entrepreneur. After a career in property management, she began webcam work in 2016, earned industry awards and later returned to her retail roots with a clothing business.

The person behind the name

Ainslee Divine’s professional life has included fashion retail, property management and independent online work. Her public career began with an Instagram account in the summer of 2016, when an unexpected audience encouraged her to explore a different direction. She began broadcasting that October.

Her story is also one of changing jobs in her forties. Interviews have followed the practical transition from office work to self-employment, the demands of managing an audience and her interest in building a business beyond the screen. In 2022, that interest took shape in the launch of MyGirlCrush Clothing.

An unexpected audience

Divine did not describe her first Instagram account as a planned career launch. She began posting during a period of renewed personal confidence in 2016. Attention arrived quickly, followed by approaches from photographers and industry contacts.

A producer who worked with independent models helped her understand the possibilities of a personal website and live online work. What began as an experiment became something she could consider alongside the real-estate company she owned with a partner.

Two jobs before one decision

Her early broadcasting schedule fitted around an existing Monday-to-Friday job. In a 2017 interview, she recalled working online on four evenings a week, with additional weekend sessions when she could manage them.

She continued combining the two jobs for several months, leaving her regular employment in March 2017. The move was gradual: she had time to experience the new work before making it her full-time occupation. That sequence is an important part of her career change.

Recognition in 2020 and 2021

Divine won Best MILF Cam Model at the 2020 XBIZ Cam Awards. In her acceptance remarks, she thanked her audience and acknowledged the other nominees. The award recognised her webcam work, a specific category within online entertainment.

The following year, she received the Diva Cam Star award at the YNOT Cam Awards. The 2021 ceremony took place at Avalon Hollywood and was hosted by Kate Kennedy.

Speaking about work in public

In 2020, Divine contributed to Business Insider’s Job Diary series in an account told to writer Jenny Powers. The feature examined working from home and the everyday organisation behind her online career.

She also appeared on There’s Something About Mary Carey in April 2022. The episode focused on her beginnings and work ethic. Together, these appearances brought her career story into an employment feature and a long-form conversation, beyond her own social posts.

Travel and life between workdays

Looking back on 2021, Divine spoke about time spent in Hawaii, California and Oregon. Travel was an established interest; possible European trips were still future plans when she discussed the next year.

Golf also appears in her account of life away from the screen. She has spoken about playing as part of her time outside work, alongside time at home and breaks from a demanding schedule.

A return to fashion

MyGirlCrush Clothing launched in 2022, bringing Divine back to an industry she knew before her online career. Her first job had been in fashion retail, where she worked her way into management and buying.

The venture added a different kind of work to her schedule: selecting products, considering fabrics and building a retail presence. It was a return to an earlier interest through a business of her own.
